Building Skills For Life

Army Cadets isn’t just about fun (although we have plenty of that!). At 224 ACU, cadets develop essential leadership, teamwork, communication, and outdoor survival skills. These skills empower them within the program and translate into success in school, future careers, and all areas of life.

Building Lifelong Friendships

Our unit is a tight-knit community where cadets form lifelong friendships. Cadets build bonds beyond training sessions through shared challenges, exciting activities, and supporting each other’s growth. They also give back by participating in ANZAC Day commemorations and supporting local community events.

Delivering Unique Experiences

As part of the Australian Army Cadets and with our connection to HMAS Harman, 224 ACU cadets have access to unique experiences many young people never get. From navigating waterways to learning bushcraft and perhaps even getting a taste of military life, our cadets push their limits and discover a world of adventure.
