End of Year Parade – 224 and 241 Army Cadet Units

Today, the 224 and 241 Army Cadet Units gathered at the ADFA Parade Ground to celebrate the end of another successful year of training. The parade was a fitting conclusion to a year filled with personal growth, skill development, and teamwork for cadets across both units.

The event marked several key milestones for cadets. Many participants officially advanced from Recruit to Cadet, recognising their commitment and progress throughout the year. Others are now preparing to undertake promotion courses, an exciting next step that reflects their leadership potential and dedication to the program. These achievements are a testament to the hard work and determination shown by each cadet.

A special highlight of the day was the announcement that CUO Sasha Mitchell from 224 ACU had been appointed to the position of National Cadet Adjutant. This prestigious appointment is a significant honour and reflects Sasha’s exceptional leadership, unwavering dedication, and contributions to the Australian Army Cadets at both the unit and national levels. Her appointment is a source of pride for 224 ACU and an inspiration for all cadets.

The success of this event would not have been possible without the efforts of cadets, staff, and the families who supported them throughout the year. It was wonderful to see so many gathered to celebrate the accomplishments of these young individuals and acknowledge the impact of their efforts.
